It’s funny how events are thin on the ground in the height of summer, but hardly surprising! One annual event well worth a visit is the Limassol Wine Festival, which takes place from 27 August to 05 September. Hats off to the C.T.O. who are offering free transport by coach from Paphos (26-930521), Larnaca (24-654322), Ayia Napa (23-721796) and Nicosia (22-674264) at set times to and from the event, over several days. To book your complimentary seat, phone the numbers given in brackets for your town. Also on the subject of festivals, don’t forget the Pafos Aphrodite Festival from 03 05 September Puccini’s opera “La Boheme” is being performed at the harbour this year by the Slovak National Opera and promises to be a night to remember.
Keep smiling be happy.
